I spent two years working with Anna at therapy central and I am very grateful for the sessions and all the learnings. I always left the sessions with a deeper understanding of myself and situations I wanted to explore. I really appreciated her calm, kind and honest perspective which she was always consistent with and this helped me finish each session feeling more grounded. I liked how she would help me understand things by explaining the psychology and the theory, I had never experienced that with any previous therapist and it really helped me. I feel like we developed a strong relationship that I would be very happy to return to in the future. I have met Ms Yasmeen Jania through Therapy Central, during one of the darkest times of my life, and I am thankful for having had the chance to have sessions with her. I enjoyed our conversations, as they were educative as much as therapeutic. I admired how real Yasmeen is, she created a safe space that felt human and friend-like, I appreciated that used a simple, everyday language when talking to me as English is not my first language. Throughout my time with Yasmeen, I noticed considerable changes in my motivation, my behaviour and my understanding of myself and others.
Absolutely recommend Therapy Central, and Anna in particular. Over the 20 sessions we built up a strong relationship and covered topics and areas that I had not previously realised even existed. I went to Anna knowing that I needed therapy but not really sure why, and I have finished my time with her armed not only with methods for coping with my anxiety but also confidence that moving forward I can deal better with situations that I haven't yet come across. I will definitely be going back, if I feel like I need more sessions in the future. Anna is supportive, understanding and fair, but is also honest and clear which I really appreciated!
Sessions with Anna have been, and continue to be, highly beneficial. She guided me through times of crisis, at my lowest points, and I can honestly say that I could not have managed without her. It is evident that she truly cares and shows compassion and patience whilst providing a balanced approach to getting to the root of issues. Anna effectively made use of EMDR therapy with me for previous trauma and I have experienced a huge shift; I can now talk about the event in a grounded and calm manner without feeling overwhelmed by memories. Absolutely best decision, she made me feel comfortable to open up, discuss what was going on, helped me to navigate through, what was a difficult time. I never felt like, I was judged, always came away from a session, having gained so much. My life has improved so much since, I started my sessions with Dr Juliet.
