Went for afternoon tea here for my birthday and have to say it was brilliant. We have been to a few others and they bring out everything in one go and leave you to it and you’re a bit overwhelmed. At the Dorchester it was done one by one where they bring out everything like a course and we really enjoyed that more. Also felt there wasn’t any wastage as they come and top up your sandwiches and they pack your desserts so you can take them home. All the food was delicious and of a great quality. I would highly recommend as the staff were so attentive coming over to refill your tea and checking in throughout.
I had the most beautiful birthday afternoon tea. The entire experience was wonderful, and the service truly made it unforgettable. Anuar was exceptional. He was warm, kind, funny and incredibly professional, and he went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special. His attention to detail and genuine care did not go unnoticed. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this experience to others. Thank you for such a memorable celebration.
Absolutely the most incredible afternoon tea; definitely worth the £95 plus service charge. The sandwiches are truly creamy and delicious, not just for show. The staff are all so kind and genuinely sweet. Unlike the Ritz, there’s no time limit and no rush. I was even able to take photos everywhere for my birthday 🎂. Hotels come and go in London but the good old Dorchester continues to top the ratings and it's easy to see why. Staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you, from the front desk right up to the extremely friendly Italian General Manager. Rooms are beautiful after their recent refresh and the meal in the Grill Room was top notch. If I could afford to live here I would.
An elegant afternoon tea experience with impeccable service and a refined atmosphere. The lounge was beautifully scented with fresh flowers, creating a truly luxurious ambiance. We chose the champagne menu — a little indulgent, but absolutely worth it for the experience.
