I cannot recommend Dr Fiona Mackillop at Dawood & Tanner highly enough. She is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to finding the best solution for her patients. What stood out most to me was how personally invested she was in helping me achieve the best possible outcome. She took the time to understand my situation, explored the options carefully and worked with me to find an approach that was right for me. Fiona was also the real force of motivation and encouragement behind my decision to quit smoking. Her support, expertise and belief in me made a huge difference, and I honestly don’t think I would have approached it with the same determination without her. My treatment at Dawood and Tanner has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Yes it comes at a price but if I had found this practice in the first place I would saved myself a lot of costly and traumatic dentistry that has only had to be redone. Dr Dawood has changed my life with his implant surgery. My new teeth now contains my tongue during the night which has cured my sleep apnea. I can now chew probably for the first time in decades which is so much better for me nutritionally but also socially. The surgery itself was so much less stressful that I thought it would be, I did have the sedation option which was wonderful but afterwards in the recovery room everyone was so kind. The aftercare was attentive too and there was always someone available if I needed to speak to anyone. My ongoing dental care with Professor Shannon has brought me a lot of confidence going forward. All the staff are so kind and friendly. Best decision I ever made to leave my former dental practice and get treatment here instead.
I had an extraction and implant done by Andrew Tanner. Every aspect of my experience was exemplary. Staff were kind, considerate and professional. Both procedures were properly explained and perfectly executed by Andrew. My dentist, Mark Kent, was updated at every stage, and I received a call from him on the day following the implant, to check on my welfare and to arrange for a follow up. It is difficult to imagine how the service and experience at Dawood and Tanner could be improved. My thanks to everyone involved.
I have recently completed implant surgery at Dawood & Tanner. I was very nervous at my initial consultation, but Dr Dawood was reassuring and clear about the appropriate treatment - I immediately felt in good hands. I had conscious sedation for the surgery, which I thoroughly recommend. The immediate pain was well-managed and I left the surgery looking better already. The process of 'designing my smile' with Dr Tanner (the fun bit) was incredibly thorough, drawing on photos of my teeth when younger, to achieve an appearance that is natural, age appropriate and pretty. I didn't feel pressured or rushed at any stage. I didn't quite believe Dr Tanner at first when she said that it would be more rejuvenating than a face lift (explaining how the teeth support the mouth and face) but it is really true - the end result exceeds my expectations. All the staff are pleasant and welcoming and the ancillary services such as imaging dovetail efficiently with appointments. I would thoroughly recommend Dawood & Tanner.

What really stood out was the follow up care. Hannah checked in with me the next day to make sure my recovery was going smoothly, which speaks volumes about their commitment to patients. Dr. Dawood himself combines expertise, precision, and a calm, confident manner that immediately puts you at ease. Thanks to him and his team, I now feel completely comfortable continuing my dental treatments here in London rather than traveling back to the U.S. I can’t recommend Dr. Dawood and his team highly enough.
