I had an extraction and implant done by Andrew Tanner. Every aspect of my experience was exemplary. Staff were kind, considerate and professional. Both procedures were properly explained and perfectly executed by Andrew. My dentist, Mark Kent, was updated at every stage, and I received a call from him on the day following the implant, to check on my welfare and to arrange for a follow up. It is difficult to imagine how the service and experience at Dawood and Tanner could be improved. My thanks to everyone involved.
I cannot recommend Dawood & Tanner Dental Practice highly enough. From start to finish, the level of care I received was exceptional. Having been to many dentists over the years, I can honestly say I have never experienced such a high degree of clinical skill combined with genuine care and professionalism. Under the expert hands of Dr. Dawood, the dental implant procedure was far easier than I ever imagined. I was genuinely astonished at how smooth, calm, and comfortable the entire process was. The precision and confidence shown throughout put me completely at ease. Special thanks also go to Hannah and the pre-care team, whose attention, reassurance, and kindness before the procedure made a huge difference. Their clear explanations and thoughtful approach truly reflected a practice that cares deeply about its patients. My treatment at Dawood and Tanner has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Yes it comes at a price but if I had found this practice in the first place I would saved myself a lot of costly and traumatic dentistry that has only had to be redone. Dr Dawood has changed my life with his implant surgery. My new teeth now contains my tongue during the night which has cured my sleep apnea. I can now chew probably for the first time in decades which is so much better for me nutritionally but also socially. The surgery itself was so much less stressful that I thought it would be, I did have the sedation option which was wonderful but afterwards in the recovery room everyone was so kind. The aftercare was attentive too and there was always someone available if I needed to speak to anyone. My ongoing dental care with Professor Shannon has brought me a lot of confidence going forward. All the staff are so kind and friendly. Best decision I ever made to leave my former dental practice and get treatment here instead.
I'd like to give the strongest praise to the hygienist Agnieszka-Boultbee who I have been seeing for the past couple of years. She's an enormously committed practitioner who has a lovely, gentle demeanour and skilled technique backed by impressive up-to-date science-based oral hygiene and overall health and wellbeing advice. I'm sure I've been a challenging one to persuade over the years, but at 65 years of age, she finally got my attention and has influenced several positive oral health behaviour changes. I can see and feel the benefits for sure. Thank you so much Agnieszka.
When an old implant became loose I was able to make an appointment without much delay at Dawood and Tanner - with Susan Tanner. I was feeling very apprehensive because of the age of the implant but the whole experience was excellent. The implant was made secure with an extremely high level of expertise - a challenge that was completed very successfully. I am very grateful to Susan Tanner and would recommend her without reservation to anyone thinking of getting implants. She is, without doubt, the best.
