Today I visited Elegance Beauty Clinic for a bit of well deserved pampering. I was recommended to take Vita Cura 5 phase firming facial. After filling out a few forms I was taken to the beautify dressed treatment room by the skilled (and extremely talented) Paula. I’ve never had Vita Cura 5 phase firming facial previously so before we got started Paula fully explained everything to me. Her knowledge of the skin and her general professionalism were second to none. She made me feel completely relaxed which is exactly what you need prior to a treatment. After we had been through everything thoroughly the facial began. Firstly, Paula removed my entire face make up to make sure it was well cleansed then proceeded with the facial. She applied enzymatic micropeel to uncover my vibrant complexion that was hiding but ready to come out. Not one but TWO massages and a cool Spirulina seaweed mask with bio-mimetic pentapeptide followed to firm and smooth my tired skin. A final Vita cura Opti lift Serum treatment was done that creates an immediate and visible lift. The result is beautifully plumped and healthy looking skin. Perfect if you have an important event coming up. The facial was so comfortable and relaxing. I didn’t want to leave! I've only had one facial here, but I will tell you from the moment you walk through the door to the time you leave the salon -professionalism, courtesy and expertise are all that you will encounter. (if you are muso this will mean a lot: they play the best background music!) Highly recommend it !
I had a wonderful experience here with Zara, one of Elegance Beauty's experienced beauticians. I had a Zo peel, which was perfect for my slightly oily and acne prone skin. I was fortunate to meet the owner, Karen, who is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I felt welcomed and in good hands from start to finish. A thorough consultation was followed by being made to feel extremely comfortable in the treatment room. During treatment I was almost drifting off as ambient music played in the background whilst Zara got to work on my skin. At the end of the hour session my face felt fresher than it has in years and I am still glowing five days on! I'll absolutely be returning here for regular treatments. I can't recommend this place more highly!
I first visited Elegance Beauty 2 months ago as I felt my skin needed a pick me up and wanted a facial. Karen, the owner, is extremely knowledgable and recommended a facial that would suit my skin needs and type. I found the whole experience extremely professional, easy to book, and relaxing. Its a really lovely salon in Crouch End and I highly recommend their facials. I booked a course of treatments and the the results are so visible I'm delighted with the advice I was given and the results I'm getting. I'm half way through my course and already so satisfied!
Unfortunately, not a good experience. They don’t do nails regularly and you can tell. The lady that did my nails was very nice, hence the two stars, but otherwise I would 100% not recommend for nails. I wasn’t going to leave a review at first, as I thought that since their focus as a Beauty Clinic is not nails I could excuse the low level of service. However, it is the first time in years of getting my nails done that I got fungi on my nails and I don’t want anyone else to have this experience! I did a gel removal (a plus point in their favour is that they did not charge me for the removal as it wasn’t a full set to remove) and a gel manicure. The first thing was that they have a very very small selection of colours, which was fine for what I needed although not ideal, but on top of that many of them were dry, oily and out of date. The owner/manager (i assume) was there, and I didn’t like how she was speaking to the beautician, it appeared condescending and blaming her in a passive aggressive way for not noticing the plenty out of date nail varnishes, all fo this in front of me whilst it should really be her responsibility as the owner/manager of the place and certainly not nice to put her employee in that position while a customer is there. Secondly, the gel didn’t last a week, it was falling off after 5 days. I am not fussy about these things, so I wasn’t too bothered to contact them and get it done again. But certainly not a good quality of gel if it cannot last a week. But all of this on top of fungi, is just not acceptable. I really hope their cleanliness for the other services is better than their nails instruments.
I had an amazing appointment with Claire very last min on a Thursday night! I wanted to get my lashes done for the first time ever for a job interview the next day. She fitted me in, kept me calm and chatted away through the process making it comfortable and enjoyable! My lashes look INCREDIBLE and my confidence is sky high. After battling an ocd I finally have lashes and this was the perfect place to take them for their first beauty experience!! Thanks so much x
